The new road connection linking Rovereto South motorway station to the main road SS240 is made of a tunnel (two barrel vaults approximately 2.2 km) and several infrastructures, the most important of which are:
• the A22 motorway flyover, with a supporting structure in steel and slabs in reinforced concrete;
• the viaduct over the River Adige and the Montecatini canal, with 7 spans of 48 m on existing piles that have been adequately reinforced and restored.
