Description

City Life is a new district under construction in the area where the historical Fair of Milano was located.

The project is the most important work of environmental and urban  re-qualification in the history of Milano. In particular, it includes the creation of the biggest pedestrian area in the city and one of the biggest in Europe, where cars and parkings will disappear because completely underground; the halving of the existing built volume in the area; the construction of the third central park in Milano, characterized by high quality from an environmental point of view and a complete availability by the city, that will cover more than 50% of the district.

Once completed, CityLife will offer to Milano a new lifestyle both for residence, job and leisure time. The project includes the construction of five residential areas, three towers dedicated to business over an underlying commercial area including car parks and a station of new N°5 subway line, cinema, restaurants and high-end shopping area. Furthermore services for living such as nurseries, barracks, post office will be part of the projects as well as the renovation and refurbishment as cultural and social centre of Palazzo delle Scintille (once Wing 3 of the old Milano’s Fair).

NET Engineering S.p.A. will deploy for the duration of the  project – to be completed in 2014 - a  Project Management team who will support CityLife in the coordination of the activities of the Engineers and Architects and of the selected General Contractor.
