The world-famous architect Daniel Libeskind will be hosted by the Faculty of Architecture in Ferrara to hold a “Lectio Magistralis” entitled "Counterpoint", during which he will go back into the nearly 40 years of his professional career.
Among the most important "Memory Architectures", of which he is authoritative exponent, the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco (2008), the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester (1997-2002) and the under construction Freedom Tower for the World Trade Centre in New York are worth mentioning.
In Italy he has recently worked for the Requalification Project of the Historical Fair District in Milan (City Life), appending his signature on CityLife Residences, Arduino Tower and MAC - Contemporary Art Museum. Within CityLife Project, NET coordinates Project Management activities relating to the carrying out of works.
The event, scheduled for Wednesday June 9th at 16.30, is organized in cooperation with NET Engineering.
